EZmix EZmix 2 is a multi-effect plug-in that lets you assign professionally designed audio processing effect chains to any audio source. A guitar amp, mixing engineer and mastering suite all in one convenient package. The EZmix 2 philosophy is as simple as it is complex. You only see the easy part – everything else goes on behind the scenes. Lend some pro secrets and platinum record magic to your music – it deserves to sound great! EZmix 2 was designed to be as easy and intuitive as humanly possible but still leave you creative leverage – hence the two rotary controls. These are the central pieces of the software. They let you dial in and customize each setting. However, they don’t simply add more or less of a specific signal chain, they control each setting’s sometimes complex network of effects and allow you to tweak a creative take on each. In other words, each preset is much more than just one, plain setting. Each signal chain preset in EZmix 2 involves a series of effect units, expertly dialed in by professional engineers. A setting can involve anything from a plain but perfectly simulated guitar cabinet to a complex network of sends, effects and parameters. EZmix 2 is a powerful package that combines a multitude of quality studio effects with the know-how of professional engineers. As soon as you select one of the ready-made settings, a complex chain of effect units instantly loads seamlessly in the background.
DIRT EZMIX PACK Get in on some of the secrets from the man who helped define the shape of punk to come: Pelle Henricsson. With 30+ years honing his craft behind the mixing console and world-renowned for his work with legendary heavy-weights like Refused (“The Shape of Punk to Come”), Meshuggah (“None”), Poison the Well and Hell Is For Heroes, this widely acclaimed and multifaceted producer/mixing engineer knows exactly what obstacles one might bump into in any given mixing situation.“Sometimes raw recordings can come out a bit clean and impersonal. Whenever I mix, I always look for a way to blend in a little dirt from underneath. It makes everything come alive in a totally different way”, he says. The Dirt EZmix Pack does exactly that – and then some. MASTERING EZMIX PACK Mastering is an art in itself as well as the final and crucial step in making great mixes sound even better. That’s why we wanted one of the best in the business at the helm when designing the presets for this pack. Meet Mats “Limpan” Lindfors, senior engineer at Cutting Room, the leading mastering studio in Scandinavia.“I tried to make this pack cover as much ground as possible. I wanted everyone to find great mastering settings no matter what kind of music they are working on”, Mats says. METAL EZMIX PACK This collection of effect chain presets comes straight from the mind and hands of Daniel Bergstrand, one of the key producers in modern metal. Having worked on noted productions by Meshuggah, Behemoth, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir and many others, Bergstrand is known to master all of the fragmented genres in metal while still managing to maintain an aura of natural dynamics. METAL GUITAR GODS EZMIX PACK Metal Guitar Gods is an expansion pack for EZmix 2, focusing solely on amp and cab simulation presets for guitar and bass. It comes with everything from rhythm, lead and clean sounds to settings for acoustic guitar and bass. All content was custom designed by four of the most iconic and trendsetting guitarists in metal: Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah), Mattias IA Eklundh (Freak Kitchen), Misha “Bulb” Mansoor (Periphery) and Devin Townsend (ex-Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Project). We call this colossus of a product Metal Guitar Gods simply because these four gentlemen are nothing short of gods. Fredrik for being the father of “Djent” and for forever having changed metal as we know it by introducing eight-string guitars. Devin for continuously pushing the boundaries and the perception of what “metal” is.
