Pianoteq Xylophone Add-On is a xylophone expansion pack for Pianoteq, featuring two highly expressive mallet instruments — a xylophone and a bass marimba — delivering a lively, woody sound that adds vibrant, distinctive percussion color to your music. Using Modartt’s physical modeling, the pack recreates the crisp, bright tone of the xylophone and the warm, deep resonance of the bass marimba. As a physically modeled instrument, you can shape the tone and dynamics of every strike with innovative expression controls for a real, lively playing feel. It also inherits Pianoteq’s advantages of no huge samples, a tiny install size, and low CPU usage. It requires Pianoteq and supports VST, AU, and AAX on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
