SWAM Viola is the most realistic, real-time controllable, and expressive virtual viola on the market. Developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM technology, it guarantees the same natural reactions as a real instrument.
SWAM Viola is modeled entirely with algorithms, recreating the behaviour of the real acoustic instrument. There are no pre-recorded samples — which means there are endless expressive sound combinations available.
For example, assign bow pressure to a knob on any MIDI controller and create your own music with full expressive control.

CPU Load
The realism and expressiveness of the SWAM instruments require a computer with at least a 1.6 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU to run a single plugin instance. Less powerful systems may also prove satisfactory, but may require larger buffer sizes, resulting in higher latencies.

「SWAM」引擎，其全稱是「Synchronous Wave Audio Modeling」。用於提琴系列產品的引擎是「SWAM-S」該引擎的製作團隊深入學習了與聲音有關的物理建模技術，並在此基礎上不斷加入並調適各種新元素，造就了目前世界上最好的弦樂物理建模音源。這套音源可以實時控制諸如弓速、弓壓、弓位、震音、滑音、撥音等複雜的弦樂表情技法，與真實樂器演奏效果雌雄難辨。
