Four handcrafted digital acoustic instruments – Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon, and Contrabassoon – developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM technology to be the most realistic, real-time controllable, and expressive virtual double reeds on the market.
Any instrument based on SWAM technology allows controlling primary expressive parameters, such as dynamics and vibrato, continuously and in real time.
SWAM Double Reeds also provide comprehensive staccato/legato articulation management, a key characteristic of double reed instruments.

All SWAM apps and plugins are navigable by the native accessibility frameworks on macOS, Windows, iOS.

- The total range is from 249 MB to 761 MB depending on the number of plugin formats installed.
- RAM occupancy: about 117 MB for each instrument instance.

CPU load
The realism and expressiveness of the SWAM instrument requires a computer with at least a 1.6 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU for running a single plugin instance. Less powerful systems may also prove satisfactory, but may require larger buffer sizes, involving higher latencies.
